Eastbourne Borough Youth Frame Football player Dennis Cullip-Cross, aged 10, was recently invited to Priory Lane to be presented with an official Junior Ambassador award from the National Frame Football Association.
This latest development by the FFA sees every Frame Football team in the UK appoint a Club Ambassador – their role being to recruit, welcome and act as role models for new players who join their club. So at halftime during the recent 1st team game versus Poole Town, new signing midfielder Harry Ransom was on hand to present Dennis with his certificate and badges to mark the occasion. Along with his family, Dennis has been a founding member and driving force in helping grow the squad, and a brilliant role model for his fellow teammates.
For new players that may be interested in joining the team, training sessions run every Saturday morning from 10.15-11.15am and are held on the 3G mini-pitch at Priory Lane. The children are aged 7-16 years old, and they all have varying forms of cerebral palsy which hinders their movement.
